Ingredients
  

  • 600 ml Water
  • 2 teabags
  • 1 tbsp Maple syrup
  • 1-2 lemons, juiced
  • mint sprigs, to serve
  • ice cubes, to serve
  • lemon slice, to serve

Instructions

  • Add the teabags to a large heatproof jug or pitcher and pour over 600ml of freshly boiled water and leave to steep for around 5 minutes.
  • Add the maple syrup and the lemon juice into the tea and give it a good stir. Remove the teabags and allow the tea to cool to room temperature before chilling in the fridge for at least an hour. It will keep covered in the fridge for 2-3 days.
  • To serve, fill glasses with ice and add the lemon slices. Pour over the chilled tea and finish with a sprig of mint.
  • Classic black tea like English Breakfast works perfectly here, but you can try out different teas to achieve different flavours. You could also add different fruit and garnishes to change it up.
